Catering Contract

1. Booking & Deposit
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. Events are not considered confirmed until the deposit has been received. Menu prices are guaranteed once confirmed in writing and will not be subject to change.

2. Final Guest Count & Payment
The final guest count must be submitted no later than 7 days prior to the event. Increases in guest numbers after this point will be accommodated to the best of our ability, but reductions cannot be accepted for billing purposes.
A 15% gratuity will be applied to all catering orders.
Full payment is due one week prior to the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Liability for Unstaffed Events
If food is delivered or picked up without catering staff present, Top Notch Catering assumes no responsibility or liability for food safety or consumption-related issues following delivery. While all food is delivered in compliance with food safety standards, liability transfers to the client upon completion of delivery or pickup.

4. External Food Additions
If additional food items not prepared by Top Notch Catering are served at the event, the client assumes full liability for the entire meal service, including any consequences resulting from the external food. We do not assume responsibility for the safety, preparation, or service of outside items.

5. Rentals & Staffing
Unless specifically included in your quote or invoice, the following are not included in standard packages and must be ordered separately:

  • Plates, cutlery, and glassware
  • Tables, linens, and décor
  • Serving staff and/or clean-up crew

6. Order Minimum
A minimum order value of $300 (before tax and gratuity) is required for all catering bookings.

7. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for verifying all invoice details, including but not limited to:

  • Event date and time
  • Guest count
  • Delivery or event location

8. Agreement to Terms
By submitting your deposit or full payment, you acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions outlined above. These terms form a binding agreement between the client and Top Notch Catering.



Bartending Contract

TOP NOTCH CATERING LTD BARTENDING SERVICES AGREEMENT

1. SERVICES PROVIDED

The Bartender agrees to provide bartending services at the event specified by the Client. The Bartender shall perform the following services:

 - Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.

 - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.

 - Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Bartenders are NOT responsible for the cleanup of the venue, breakdown of the bar set up, loading and unloading of client vehicles, clearing tables. 

2. CLIENT'S RESPONSIBILITIES

The Client agrees to provide the following for the Event:

 - All alcohol, mixers, ice, glasses, bar equipment and garnishes etc. necessary for the provision of bartending services. Bartending packages include the bartender only.

 - Setup of the bar area. Service area must be ready to serve. 

 - Access to electricity and running water, if required.

 - Any necessary permits or licenses for the service of alcohol, if applicable.

3. LIABILITY

The Bartender or Top Notch Catering Ltd shall not be liable for any damages, injuries, or losses arising out of or in connection with the provision of bartending services.

The Client shall indemnify and hold harmless the Bartender and Top Notch Catering from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including attorney fees, arising out of or in connection with the Event.

4. DURATION

The bartending services provided by the Bartender shall run for a maximum of 8 hours.

5. PAYMENT

Payment shall be made in full no later than 1 week prior to the event. 

6. TERMINATION

Either party may terminate this Agreement upon written notice to the other party in the event of a material breach of the terms and conditions contained herein.

7. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia.

8. STAFF SAFETY 

If at any point during the event, the bartender feels their personal safety is compromised or at risk, they reserve the right to leave the premises without consequence or penalty.
